Case Study: Disaster Recovery After Hurricane Ike

When Hurricane Ike swept through the Gulf Coast in September 2008, major essential facilities went down due to the storm. As part of the recovery response, Tidal Power Services had over 300 employees, subcontractors, and alliances working together to get storm-damaged facilities back online as quickly as possible.

In times of crisis or natural disaster, restoring power to the affected areas is always a top priority and we were proud to be a part of that collaborative effort. We have strong relationships with other NETA Full Member companies, as well as other experienced personnel that are available to man-up a project to get the job done, safely and efficiently.

Tidal Power Services has the staff and resources to man extremely large outages.
